October 2025: What's Going On?

September Was a Special Month!

We celebrated yet another Radio in Brazil Anniversary. Over five Saturdays we aired a special series about the building and creation of the Rodeador Transmission Park, in Brasília.

We also held a listener giveaway, with prizes including a radio receiver, two shirts, a book about faith, a Bible and ten pens. The radio winner was listener Márcia Medeiros, from southern Brazil.

Book of Mark Series

In our daily programming, we continued the Book of Mark series led by Allan Dutton Jr., with an overview of the book and a chapter-by-chapter study highlighting the most relevant facts and topics.

Women's Corner

The Women's Corner featured Fernanda Silva with daily devotionals, and we also welcomed Gisele Stefan, with reflections grounded in Scripture.

💡 Reflection: God's family is made up of all who hear His voice and do His will — a community that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.

Focus on the Christian Family

September was marked by special contributions on the theme of "Family". Our collaborator from southern Brazil, Paulo Rodrigues, brought reflections on "The True Family of God".

The Lord's Supper Series

On Sundays, we continued the Lord's Supper series, based on the book Messages for the Lord's Supper by Ranieri Vieira. Listener Bruno Lima, from northeastern Brazil, wrote:

"I am really enjoying the Lord's Supper reflections. The messages from Hebrews were wonderful, for the glory of our great God."

Children's Segment

Beliza addressed the theme of Missions in the children's segment, showing children the role each of them plays in spreading the gospel, using simple and fun language.

Radio DX

On Saturdays, Danilo Nonato, Antônio Ribeiro da Motta (SP) and Antônio Argolo (BA) contribute to the Radio DX segment, covering shortwave radio, historical recordings and the latest DX news.

Message from Argentina

Our listener Carlos Ávila, from Argentina, shared:

"I have been a radio amateur for 30 years. I have several receivers and a crystal radio I built — also a regenerative receiver with a single transistor. I would greatly appreciate your QSL card to show my students, many of whom already listen to shortwave."

💡 Reflection: Every anniversary of the radio is a reminder that God's faithfulness is renewed each year — and that His Word still travels far.
