January 2026: What's Going On?
With gratitude to God, Palavra Alegre Radio begins 2026 celebrating its 7th anniversary, new biblical content, promotion winners and messages that cross borders.

A New Year, New Expectations at Rádio Palavra Alegre
A new year begins, and with it, great expectations. God has blessed us greatly throughout all these years, and our prayer is that 2026 will be even more rewarding, all for His honor and glory.
We are deeply grateful for everything God has provided, especially for the milestone moments of the 7th anniversary of Rádio Palavra Alegre, celebrating another year of mission, faith, and fellowship.
💡 Reflection: Each year is a new page that God writes alongside us. May
2026 be marked by faithfulness to His Word and love for our neighbors.
Anniversary Promotion Winners
With great joy, we celebrate the winners of our special anniversary promotion:
- Cridinei Gabriel — winner of the book _Glimpsing His Glory by Lou Seckler
- Flora Ederson — winner of a Bible
- Marly França, from Conselheiro Lafaiete — winner of the radio receiver
Ongoing Uplifting Programming
We continue with the Beatitudes series by Allen Dutton Jr., based on Matthew chapter 5, airing Monday through Friday. On Sundays, we continue with reflections on the Lord's Supper, based on the book _Messages for the Lord's Supper.
Special Series and New Content
We resumed recordings of Encounters with Jesus by Gayle Crowe, with practical examples of Christ's teachings. We also continue with the Words from the President of World Christian Broadcasting series by Andy Baker — a short reflection followed by prayer.
Children's Programming and Historical Content
On Sundays, Beliza Patricia leads Bible studies for children on the theme of summer vacation in January. On Saturdays, Danilo Nonato and Antônio Ribeiro da Mota present shortwave moments, including historical recordings of _A Voz do Brasil.
Messages That Cross Borders
Message from Goa — India
Listener Jawahar Almeida, a merchant navy sailor, wrote from Goa, sharing his appreciation for radio, his historical connection to Brazil, and his affection for Palavra Alegre's programming.
Message from Argentina
We also received a message from teacher Carlos Armando Ávila, from Mendoza, thanking us for the QSL card received and sharing that he will use it to encourage his students to listen to radio.
💡 Reflection: When God's Word crosses continents through radio, it
reminds us that mission has no fixed address — it goes where the Spirit sends
it.
A Final Message
Wishing everyone a 2026 full of peace, joy, and life in Christ. May this new year bring us even closer to God and His love.
God bless you all!
