June 2026: New Website, Spotify, and Listeners Around the World
Palavra Alegre launches its new website, expands its presence on Spotify, presents new series, and shares messages from listeners in Sweden and Spain.

June Arrives with Lots of News!
This past month, we had the privilege of celebrating five birthdays within our team: Diane Patterson, Paul Ladd, Tonny Tadros, myself, and also our President Emeritus, Andy Baker. I am só happy to be able to share this moment of celebration with such dear people. May God bless each one of them and grant them great health and long life.
Our New Website is Live!
That's right—the Palavra Alegre website has a brand-new look! Our team member, André, created a version that loads faster and features a clean, easy-to-navigate layout. You can check it out and interact with it by visiting: www.palavraalegre.com.br.
In addition to this website upgrade, we have implemented a pop-up for our Spotify programs. Now, our listeners can also tune in via Spotify and access our shows from January to March 2026. We are working hard to make all of our daily programs available there very soon. You can also access it through this link: Palavra Alegre on Spotify.
Special Programming for June
New Series and World Cup Specials
As part of our latest updates, we have a new series by Allen Dutton Jr., sharing reflections on 1 Peter. This series airs from Monday to Friday. Additionally, we have created a trivia series about the FIFA World Cup, which will feature the largest number of teams in history (48 teams) and the highest number of host countries (3: the United States, Canada, and Mexico).
Still on the topic of the World Cup, Danilo Nonato has been sending us weekly historic audio clips from past tournaments, and we have been airing these programs on Saturdays during our Radio DX segment. The World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 11th, with the final taking place on July 19th at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Children's Programming
For the kids, Beliza Patricia's series will focus on our Christian identity. Key sub-themes within this topic include: We are temples of the Holy Spirit, Parts of the body of Christ, and Citizens of heaven, among others.
Listeners from Around the World
We continue to receive messages from various places in Brazil and around the world. In May, we received a letter from Sweden from our listener, Tore. He wrote:
"My name is Tore and I am sending a report from Sweden. I am a retired construction worker, 77 years old, and I live in a small village called Rydöbruk, about 45 km northeast of the city of Halmstad on the west coast of Sweden. I have been interested in DX since 1965 and am a member of the Swedish DX Federation. It was with great pleasure that I tuned into Palavra Alegre - MWV on April 30, 2025, on the 9765 kHz frequency, between 21:32 and 22:33 UTC."
Another message came from Erik, an 11-year-old boy living in Spain. He wrote to us saying:
"Dear friends at Palavra Alegre, my name is Erik and I am 11 years old. I love listening to your broadcasts, even though I don't understand them! My dad loves radio, so he told me about it and I was amazed, so now I like it too. Today I would like to share my reception report with you. I would also like to tell you a little about myself. As I mentioned, I am 11 years old and I love collecting QSLs, postcards, stamps from other countries, and bookmarks. Therefore, I would love it if you could send me some of those: just a QSL, a postcard, and some stamps from your country."
💡 Reflection: It is moving to see people of different generations and cultures being reached by Palavra Alegre's broadcasts. God's message continues to cross borders and touch hearts.
May June Be Blessed! 🙏
Finally, I wish you all a wonderful month of June. May God bless you all.
Warm regards from Brazil!
