July 2026: Listeners, New Series, and 43 Years of Ministry

July Arrives with Lots of News!

Every month, our inbox, mailbox, and WhatsApp fill up with amazing messages. We absolutely love this interaction with you, our listeners! That's why I want to start today's article by sharing a few of the notes that touched our hearts last month.

Listeners from Around the World

Sebastião, from Rio de Janeiro, wrote to us asking for some help to better understand the Bible and learn how to pray. We've already sent him some study materials and, of course, invited him to a personalized Bible study.

We also received a message directly from Germany from Nijat Imranli, who sent us a great note:

"Dear MWV Palavra Alegre team, it is a pleasure to tune in to your broadcast on the 9765 kHz frequency here in Berlin, taking advantage of a period of great transmission conditions. I've been passionate about radio and long-distance listening for years—a hobby that started in my hometown of Baku, Azerbaijan, and that I brought with me to Germany. Over time, I've come to value stations that keep traditional broadcasting alive even more, as this has become quite rare in Europe. Every QSL card and souvenir I receive holds a special place in my collection, helping to tell the history of international radio. Having your station in my archive would be an honor."

It is so wonderful to see people interested in diving deeper into the Bible and learning about God's love. In fact, this month, we are running a campaign focused on directing Bible studies to a specific region of Brazil, where a partner evangelist is ready to study with everyone in that local area.

💡 Reflection: Every message we receive reminds us of the reach of our broadcasts and the genuine desire of people to know more of God's Word, whether in Brazil or on the other side of the world.

Special Programming for July

1 Peter Series and The Lord's Supper

As for our programming, the studies on the First Epistle of Peter are going strong with our collaborator Allen Dutton Jr. We are also recording The Lord's Supper series, inspired by the book of messages by Ranieri Vieira.

Another update is that we are currently editing fresh material coming from southern Brazil. These are very special audio clips and studies focused on family, parenting, and building a strong church.

World Cup Trivia on Radio DX

And for football fans, the final episodes of our World Cup Trivia series are on the way! I had the joy of recording this 3-minute segment with the help of my kids, Enzo and Julia, sharing several stories about the World Cups hosted in the US, Canada, and Mexico. On top of that, Danilo Nonato, who works at a federal university, put together an unmissable series about the five World Cups Brazil has won and the expectations for our national team now in 2026. This content airs every Saturday during our Radio DX segment.
