May 2025: What's Going On?
May celebrates the WCB annual fundraising lunch, launches a new mental health series, begins The Lord's Supper on Sundays and receives touching messages from listeners in Brazil, China and Germany.

Gratitude for the Annual Fundraising Lunch
God is good and we can only give thanks for another annual fundraising lunch and dinner! God blessed us greatly. We want to thank everyone who contributed financially, who got involved in organizing and preparing — and our entire team. Months of preparation, video recording, editing and many other behind-the-scenes tasks went into it. Thank you!
Ongoing Programming
In our broadcasts, we continue with the Spiritual Growth series with Allen Dutton Jr., focusing on confessing our sins and the importance of prayer. We also translated and recorded series by Andy Baker (_Reflection and Prayer_) and Gayle Crowe (_Encounters with Jesus_).
On Sundays, the children's segment addresses Jesus and how His example reflects in our lives. On Easter Sunday, we aired a special message on this theme.
New Series: The Lord's Supper
Starting in the Sundays of May and beyond, we launched the new series "The Lord's Supper", with a brief weekly reflection. Nothing more fitting — Sunday is the day to sit at the table and remember Jesus' sacrifice for each of us. Ranieri Vieira guides us through 54 Sunday reflections throughout the year.
💡 Reflection: Remembering the Lord's Supper every week is not repetition
— it is renewal. Every Sunday is a new opportunity to look at the cross and
say: "That was for me."
New Series: Mental Health
Isabel Dante, my wife and psychologist, created a new series on mental health, airing on Saturdays. These topics have been increasingly discussed, especially since the pandemic and the response of athletes like Simone Biles, who paused her athletic career to care for her mental health.
Social Media
Our social media has been reaching many people, especially through the daily reflections "Coffee with God." Our collaborator André Silva manages the daily posts and ad campaigns.
Listener Messages
- José, frequent listener from Macau, China — a Brazilian living there who sends us videos highlighting the quality of the signal.
- Helmut Matt, from Germany, who sent us an Easter poem about faith, hope and resistance to evil.
💡 Reflection: When a listener from the other side of the world sends us
an Easter poem, the Word has already done its work. It crossed oceans and
blossomed in a heart.
Happy Mother's Day!
May is Mother's Day month in Brazil and in many parts of the world. May God bless every mother — not just in May, but every day. Congratulations, mothers!
