Our Story

In February 1945, world leaders met in Yalta, Crimea. While they discussed the future of the world, a quiet idea emerged: an idea that would later help bring hope and faith to people across every continent.

Young lieutenant Maurice Hall realized that shortwave technology used in military communication could serve a much greater purpose: spreading the Good News to the world.

Decades later, in 1977, Maurice and a group of visionary friends met in Texas with a bold dream: to use radio to share the Gospel with people who might never have access to this message.

The dream was big, but the journey was only beginning.

Since then, World Christian Broadcasting has expanded beyond expectations. In 2016, a station in Madagascar began transmitting with the goal of reaching Africa's eastern coast.

Today, with multiple operational stations and broadcasts in several languages, millions of people around the world can hear messages of hope, faith, and transformation.

WCB — World Christian Broadcasting

Our headquarters serves as a global center for production and transmission, enabling partnerships that use radio to bring people closer to Christ.

KNLS — New Life Station

The KNLS station expands the reach of Christian broadcasts, bringing hope to remote regions and becoming a channel of faith and spiritual encouragement.

MDW — Madagascar World Voice

Located in Madagascar, this station uses advanced technology to reach distant regions of Africa, demonstrating our commitment to bringing the Gospel to all peoples.

Our shortwave antennas depend on generators to remain operational, ensuring that the message of hope reaches the most remote corners of the planet.
