Welcome, September! A Month of Celebration and Special Promotions

September has arrived, bringing with it two landmark moments in Brazilian history: the anniversary of radio in Brazil and the country's Independence Day. Both fall on the same date — September 7. It was in 1922, during the centennial celebrations of Independence, that the first official radio broadcast in Brazil took place — a milestone that would forever change how Brazilians communicate.

    Special September Giveaway 🎁

To mark this special month, we prepared an exclusive promotion for Rádio Palavra Alegre listeners! Prizes include:

    • 10 personalized pens
    • 2 official Rádio Palavra Alegre shirts
    • 2 biblical teaching books
    • 1 shortwave radio receiver

To enter: visit our Instagram, follow our page, like the official promotion post, tag 3 friends in the comments and share a brief message about your experience with radio.

💡 Reflection: Radio was born in Brazil on Independence Day — as if it

were always meant to be an instrument of freedom to communicate what matters

    most.

    Special September Programming

    Special Series on Radio DX

On Saturdays, the Radio DX segment features a special series on the inauguration of Rodeador Park, one of Brazil's most important radio transmission centers near Brasília. Produced by EBC, with contributions from Antonio Ribeiro da Mota and introductions by Danilo Nonato.

    Messages for the Christian Family

We will air special messages on family, the Christian home and reflections on how to be husbands and wives who honor God in daily life.

    Gospel of Mark Series

We continue the biblical series on the book of Mark with Allan Dutton Jr., airing Monday through Friday — an in-depth and uplifting study.

    "God's Covenants" Series

With pastor Nilton Barreto, we explore the differences between the Old and New Testaments, understanding how Jesus fulfilled the Law and established the new covenant.

"Messages for the Lord's Supper" Series

Based on the book by Ranieri Vieira, airing on Sundays with reflective messages about the Lord's Supper.

    Listeners from Around the World

We received messages from Germany, Philippines, China, Argentina, Morocco, India and many other countries. Listener Pedro Vinicius Santana, a journalism student from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, wrote:

"I am a journalism student and passionate about radio, the profession I intend to pursue. In my spare time I listen to stations from Brazil and abroad. I am sending my reception report for Rádio Palavra Alegre on the 9,765 kHz frequency."
💡 Reflection: When a journalism student falls in love with Christian

radio, something special is happening. The Word sows wherever the Spirit leads

    it.

    May September Be Blessed! 🙏

Wishing everyone a September filled with peace, joy and blessings. May God keep guiding every step we take. Stay with God and keep tuned to Rádio Palavra Alegre!
